Cahayabox studio sits in Marija Gorica, 43 minutes from central Zagreb, about 15 from Zaprešić and 19 minutes from Brežice across the Slovenian border. The cyclorama is 7.5 x 4 metres, large enough for portraits, groups, products and video sets. An hour costs 50 euros and includes everything: the space, lighting, modifiers, backdrops and parking.

Our studio is in Marija Gorica, near Zaprešić and right by the Slovenian border. Drive times: Zaprešić about 15 min, Samobor 25 min, Zagreb (Ban Jelačić Square) 43 min / 31.2 km, Brežice (Slovenia) 19 min / 13.6 km, Krško 29 min, Novo mesto 45 min. Both countries are in the Schengen area, so there are no border stops. Free parking and AC.

Is the studio suitable for influencers and content creators?

Yes. The cyclorama, the lighting and the painted backdrops cover most content formats, and the whole space including equipment is in the hourly rate.

What is a cyclorama?

A seamless curved wall where the floor and the wall meet without an edge, so the background has no visible line. Ours is 7.5 by 4 metres, enough for full body shots and for moving subjects.

Can I shoot e-commerce product photos here?

Yes. The lighting, the cyclorama and the painted backdrops cover white background packshots as well as styled product images. If you would rather hand over the whole series, we also shoot products for you.

Can I use the studio for video and interviews?

Yes. The space is sound insulated enough for interviews, and the cyclorama works as a clean background for talking head setups.

What else is in the space?

A make-up and changing room, a kitchen and a lounge, two bathrooms with showers, air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, and an adjacent three bedroom apartment for longer productions.

How close is the studio to Slovenia?

It sits right by the border: 19 minutes from Brežice (13.6 km), 29 from Krško and 45 from Novo mesto. Both countries are in the Schengen area, so there are no border stops, and everything is paid in euros.
